GCP - GASTON COUNTY PATRIOTS
GCP offers a NC Club Team for middle and high school student-athletes in Gaston County, West Charlotte, and Lincoln County areas.
GCP follows all NCHSAA dates and rules.

SEASON DETAILS
- Boys HS & MS
- Mid February to Early May
- North Belmont Park - 3110 Hickory Grove Road, Gastonia, NC 28056
- Games vs MICS, North Lincolnton, Cox Mill, Queens Grant, Legion Academy, Asheville, and more
- Equipment provided as needed
- HS/MS Practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 6:30-8pm
- HS/MS Cost $200

GCP COACHES
Mike Rowse is originally from Urbana, MD where he played high school lacrosse at Urbana High School and was an All American. Rowse played at Robert Morris University and played defense for the Colonials where he started all four years. He coached at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa as well as with Maryland Raptors Lacrosse, FASTLAX Lacrosse and the Pittsburgh Revolution Lacrosse Clubs. He most recently coached locally for Team Carolina and was an assistant coach at Queens University of Charlotte. At Queens, he coached 5 All Americans, two SAC Conference players of the year, won 2 regular season SAC championships, 1 SAC Tournament championship, had numerous top 20 rankings, and helped Queens to their first ever NCAA berth in 2014. He has been coaching with MI Lacrosse since 2017.

Brad Mackie, originally from Sparta, N.J. where he played for Pope John XXIII HS. Brad is a SR LSM at Belmont Abbey. He is an assistant coach for True Lacrosse NJ and has worked with MI Lacrosse since 2020.
