West Lake Select

We are excited to grow our Select Team program that started in 2015. Playing in tournaments gives players the chance to play in multiple games in a day or weekend against top level talent. This is one of the best ways to improve not only your lacrosse skills but also your lacrosse IQ.

Three things we are looking for from all our players:
Desire -
Players must really want to become better & love the game. This needs to come from the player. No Coach or Parent can do this for the player.
Willingness to work hard - When players want to and when players don’t. EFFORT = SUCCESS
Believe in Yourself - Everyone has potential but not everyone develops it. Understand that players have just as much opportunity to become a great player as any other athlete in any other part of the country.

WHY PLAY
- Players can get a season worth of experience in a short amount of time (5 scrimmages and 10 games)
- Challenge yourself by playing at the highest level on a summer select team
- TO BE THE BEST ... PLAY THE BEST!

WHY WE DON'T TRAVEL
- We believe in the select lacrosse experience and how much it benefits the players
- However we feel that staying and playing local is also beneficial to players and parents
- For each potential away tournament a team would play in the costs per family for 2 nights hotel, gas, and food could easily be $500+
*Money saved from not traveling can be used to attend summer camps, position camps, recruiting camps, or prospect days
